Endowed with tremendous compassion, Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche aspires to free all sentient beings from suffering. Under his guidance, Karma Samten Ling has undertaken many charitable activities such as life release, donations of clothes, rice, medicine to the destitute, elderly, and disabled.
In Buddhadharma, not only do we practice generosity altruistically, we also practice the paramita indiscriminately, regardless of religion, culture, nationality, ethnicity or castes. By means of helping others, you are helping yourself too. In the course of conducting virtuous activities, one can eliminate attachment by eliminating the unnecessary worldly prejudice and discrimination, this way, the sufferings in the Samsara can be relieved by the breeze of compassion because your infinite kindness is beyond all limit.
Through helping others, not only do we fulfill the wish of our lineage masters, our lives would also be very meaningful. Therefore Rinpoche wish that disciples would participate frequently in virtuous activities. Through the practice of loving kindness and compassion, our Bodhicitta can be enhanced, so as to accomplish Rinpoche’s aspiriation of enlightening and elevating beings from the ocean of sufferings.

From high mountains to meadows, from prosperous modern cities to remote villages; where there are sentient beings, there are sufferings; where there is compassion, there is hope; like prayers on Lungta that flutter in the breeze, blessings can be sent forth to every corner of the world.
