Chenrezig has special sympathy with beings in the samsara, he manifests into various forms to help beings who are in need. In Vajrayana, one of the most popular practices is Four Arm Chenrezig who is adorned in silk and ornaments of Samboghakaya. His white body represents purity and flawlessness, his two arms are folded towards the chest and holding a wish-fulfilling gem, the next two arms are raised, the right holding a crystal rosary which represents continuously liberating beings from samsara, the left holding a white lotus which represents the purification of all defilements. The four arms also represent the four activities of the Buddhas: pacifying, increasing, magnetizing and purifying.

The heart mantra of Chenrezig is Om Mani Pad Me Hum. It is used to bless and purify bad karma, bad conduct and obscurations of beings of the six realms in order to liberate beings from samsara and engage the path of enlightenment.
